Arthroscopy is most commonly applied in knee surgery, it´s a minimal invasive approach with very small incisions using special tools to repair articular damage under monitor control. With this technique your doctor can repair meniscal tears, ligament injuries, cartilage damage, patella injuries and damages and inflammatory disorders of the knee joint.

The oparation can be performed under regional or general anaesthesia, as an outpatient ( ambulant surgery ) or in- patient treatment, in which case you will be discharged from hospital one day after the operation.
